Time is running out to preserve the historic Sexlinger Orchard in Santa Ana. Our own Jeannie Gillett is quoted in the latest Orange County Register article:
“There’s nothing else like it in the county, and it would be a shame to lose it. It’s very much worth the effort trying to get people aware, and doing whatever they can to help.”
Please read the Orange County Register’s article and share it with everyone you know. If you would also share this post on your facebook, twitter, and other social media pages, maybe we can reach even more people that can help us preserve this resource for future generations.
Comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) need to be returned to the Santa Ana City Planning and Building Agency by December 17, 2012, 5:00 PM. This has also been added to the TOOC Calendar page.
